Do you need a clean shower? Many home owners will throw up their hands in dismay after hours of trying to get the water and scale stains off their bathroom surfaces. They believe that there is no other solution other than to replace the entire shower unit. This is not so as Belinda found out after she met Cameron at the Wellington Home Show.
The Challenge of getting a clean shower
The older shower in Belinda and Alan Clare’s Seatoun home was the perfect opportunity for Cameron. At least 10 years old with two walls of tile and grout, and two of glass it needed the full Canny Money Makeover treatment.
Belinda says “I had tried everything I could over 5 years to get the shower clean but the water and scale stains just kept getting worse. We were at the point of replacing the glass when we picked up Camerons card at the Wellington Home Show. Hoping to save ourselves the big expense of replacement we decided to give him a call.”
The Solution
Belinda reckons that even Cameron was little taken aback when he saw her disaster of a shower but he was always confident that he could return it to its original glory.
Cameron started with removing all the silicon from the tiles and applied Aqua Mix Heavy duty cleaner to remove he buildup. All the existing water staining and lime scale from the glass and chrome surfaces were then removed. Cameron then used a Holer Diamond non scratch pad to clean all the natural stone and applied the Aqua mix fix. With the surfaces returned to their original condition, he applied a Clearshield Protective coating to all the glass surfaces to protect them from future build-up.
“I saved thousands of dollars! Canny made my shower look brand new again. It is unbelievable. I love every time I go in the shower ” – Belinda.
